Georgie “GG" Greville is a New York-based creative director, filmmaker and entrepreneur known for her dynamic combination of cultural strategy and video-forward creative vision. She began her career as a writer/ director at MTV,  specializing in creating PSA campaigns educating viewers around safe sex, AIDS and environmental awareness. She went on to direct music videos and conceptual fashion films including Tokion King of Doc winner “The Red Room” and A Shaded View on Fashion Film Samsing Grand Prix winner “I Wanna Be Your Dog.” 

 

In 2008, Georgie partnered with Milk Studios to co-found LEGS Media, a creative production company specializing in irreverent ads, fashion films, music videos and experiential events. At LEGS, GG co-directed the viral, VMA-nominated videos for Florence + The Machine’s “Dog Days Are Over” and Selena Gomez’s “Love You Like a Love Song.” Her direction for the Target “Kaleidoscopic Fashion Spectacular,” a 20-minute live event that transformed New York’s Standard Hotel into a giant light board with more than 100 dancers, won a TED Prize, the Gold Outdoor Lion at the 2011 Cannes Lions Festival and an induction into MoMA’s permanent collection. GG also directed conceptual short films for HBO, Rag and Bone, Temperley London, and Gareth Pugh as well as international campaigns for Evian, Diesel, Paco Rabanne, Diet Coke and Heineken. Often utilizing exhilarating choreography, empathic camera movement and avant-garde editing techniques, GG is skilled in harnessing a project's unique energy and reimagining the form in the process. 

 

In 2016, GG co-founded Milk Makeup, where she pioneered the brand’s unique identity and philanthropic aims with an innovative multi-media presence. She has integrated her core values of authenticity, transcendent growth and openness into every side of the brand, from the use of clean ingredients to their leading stance on impactful support for the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. Under her direction, Milk Makeup has become an industry leader and used its video-forward campaigns to redefine conventional beauty standards and champion inclusive self-expression. 

 

GG's progressive perspectives have been featured on many panels and platforms including Harvard Business School, SXSW, SCAD and The New York Times. She was recently honored with the corporate impact award at The Center Women’s Event 2022. GG is a current Fashion Scholarship Fund board member, creative consultant, filmmaker and VC advisor. 

She is currently working on an experiential project that explores feminine values across history and cultures including intuition, reverence for life, interconnectivity and non-hierarchical divinity.
